i am trying to create two labels i aspx page one is from date and another one is to date, once i click on subit butto the two labels should validate that from date should be less than to date and to date should be greater than from if user enter any unformatted date it has to give messgae that Enter a valid date in MM/DD/YYYY format I just retested the functionality and its working fine at my end. This can be a problem with the Telerik Controls Version difference between you have and what I have in my machine You may consider posting this question in Telerik Forum. If i enter from date and if left todate -- it has to show alert as todate is required but not sure in the sumamry already From-date should be 'less' than to-date & to-date should be 'greater' than from-date is available then its combining with todate alert.if i enter todate and left from date that is showing fine i am able to see single alert like from date is required..The following days have reservations that conflict with one or more of the selected semester's courses: Please remove these conflicts and notify the reserving parties before importing the selected semester.Ahora puedes ver nuestra lista y fotos de chicas que están en su área y satisfacer sus preferencias.Adding logic to the server-side Validate() method is pretty straightforward, and for this post I’m going to focus on Get Client Validation Rules().Adding client validation is now incredibly easy because jquery.validate is very powerful and already comes with a ton of validators (including date and regular expressions for our email example).
Since Data Type() doesn’t validate, that leaves us with two options: (1) Create our own attributes for each datatype to validate, like [Date], or (2) add validation into the Data Type attribute directly. In this situation additional validation when the form is submitted may be the simplest solution, so we need to carry out some process like this: Validation Error validation Error = new Validation Error(empty Validation Rule, text Box. Text Property), "Error message", null); Validation. You could force databinding to occur like this: when the Combo Box loses focus. However, if the user just uses the mouse to press the form submit button, the combobox will never gain or lose focus so no validation will take place. In this post, I will show you how to hookup client-side validation to the existing Data Type() attribute for a desired type. NET MVC project that allows us to create a new Data Type Entity and hookup automatic client-side date validation using the suggested “out-of-the-box” jquery.validate bits that are included with ASP. For simplicity I’m going to focus on the only Date Time field, but the concept is generally the same for any other Data Type. Since we are extending Data Annotations we can use the subclass of Model Validator called Data Annotations Model Validator.
From there adding server-side validation would be a breeze and even writing a custom validation attribute would be simple (more on that in future posts). To start we will need to build a new validation adapter that we can register using ASP. This takes a generic argument of type Data Annotations. Data Annotations namespace contains a validation attribute called Data Type Attribute, which takes an enum specifying what data type the given property conforms to.
