They wouldn't tell us the server settings, so after reluctantly allowing them access they conceded it was them.They blamed it on a message plugin, said they resolved it, but they hadn't.Skadate cost me 9 months of hell and I lost a great deal of time and money, not to mention hair!SD make out they are based in US, but they are based in some former Russian republic, Kazakhstan I think.The support is currently per month and while that seems quite a lot, the support I have received in this last ticket has been 'outstanding' and well worth it!I was allocated Lora who has been unbelievably helpful even offering extra help (regarding css and ways around things etc) where possible.Very friendly staff, excellent customer service and tends to all the queries. The migration across was free but I had to pay lots for additional features just to get back the features I had before.As soon as the migration went ahead it was a clusterf**k.
The site has been stable for a period of time and Skadate has been generally responsive to issue submissions.
SD don't do that, they used to but closed it down, I wonder why?!
So please if you value your sanity don't go near SD, I still get the shakes when I think I nearly lost my business because of them. Oh and one more thing, funny how all their latest reviews on here are 5 star, not genuine reviews I think!
If you have a few things to work through, the costs comes down to just cents per issue and the support is absolutely top professional.
There are a couple of bugs with the actual software but the support which I have received has been fantastic!
I fell as though I'm losing everything invested due all the down time experienced with Skadate. Hate to move software vendors, but am not sure what other options there is.
